Gender Ideology as a tool of Post Modern Imperialism in East Asia.
Neo Imperialism is giving way to Post Modern Imperialism that uses Gender Ideology in an attempt to undermine East Asian soft-power and replace it with socially destructive forces that weaken cultures
This article will focus on East Asia which includes China, Korea and Japan but the mechanics remain the same regardless of region.
Much like slavery, Neo-Imperialism never truly died. The idea that slavery and Neo-Imperialism are dead, serves merely to soothe the conscience of the certain elites so that they may make use of the same principles found in the Colonialist mindset. On the other extreme, there are groups that focus strongly on Neo-Imperialism demanding inter-generational guilt for the sins of ancestors in order to detract from the darker and more sinister ideologies that they push.
What form then does Neo-Imperialism take today and how is this an extension of past Imperialist practices? To define terms, we can classify modern forms of Imperialism as Post-Modern Imperialism, a form of Imperialism that is based on a Nihilistic world view and which is designed to destabilise societies via the introduction of philosophies or theories that promote avarice, hedonism and libertinism. These are powerful weapons of destroying social cohesion and eventually eroding the laws that are designed to protect the most vulnerable in society.
Let us then consider the law. What is Law? From an ethical understanding, the law is a set of regulations that pertain to what are socially acceptable behaviours, appropriate laws should be a two edged blade, that is to say, the law should protect the weak and punish the evil. Hence, the law acts as a hope for the oppressed that justice will be on their side but at the same time, represents the punisher of those who commit evil deeds. What happens then when such a distinction is eroded in the law, so that the law rather than protecting the weak, itself becomes an arbiter and enabler of evil? In such a case, the law becomes and oppressive task master, a totalitarian system that does the very opposite of which it claims.
How does this then relate to Post Modern Imperialism (from now on PMI)? This type of Imperialism is not spread in the same way as previous forms of Imperialism that attempted to force adherence to the laws of Colonialist Empires by having a physical Colonial presence in the target nation, state or region. PMI spreads via a combination of social pressures and encourages the formation of grassroots movements that internally destabilise the target. therefore, rather than being viewed as an external influence, the idea is to promote it as an internal and organic movement. It must be stated that at their core, both Neo-Imperialism and Post Modern Imperialism share the core view of the inferiority of the target culture and practices as a whole.
Further, both Neo-Imperialism and Post Modern Imperialism seek to "liberate" the target population through the use of "noble savages", namely, local people who they can use as pawns for their ideology. This is how the facade of "grassroots movements" can be created. It is in essence the metastasis of a social cancer, which once rooted, rapidly becomes a destructive and corrupting force as the worst and most criminal elements of society latch on to and support it.
PMI seeks to push the new religious movement of gender theory beyond the scope of Western Academia and into new territories for the sake of cultural conquest and control via soft-power, knowing that more direct attempts at control are likely to elicit a very strong response. The newest target for this Imperialism is the attack on East Asian society in an attempt to undermine not only centuries of tradition, but also the very building blocks that make such societies safe as well as to undo any social improvements that they have made.
Under intersectional ideologies, East Asians are now classified by many as being "white adjacent" and for the sin of light pigmentation somehow are part of a global demographic that must engage in repenting and self-flagellation by virtue of their heritage. Despite tragic and brutal events that took place in the Second World War, East Asia has risen as one of the most stable regions on the planet where actual conflict is rare and where crime rates are among the lowest found on our planet. Further, laws have been continually improved to protect the vulnerable in society, let us consider some improvements and see how PMI seeks to undo these.
Japan has taken time to address some of its unsavoury cultural practices and give more protection under law to those who face potential exploitation. Japan has been slow with some of its improvements, in 1994, child sexual abuse materials were finally outlawed thanks to the diligent efforts of mothers’ groups. Laws pertaining to sexual assault and rape have also been strengthened. This has led to significant improvements in certain regions for the protection of both women's and children's rights and safeguarding efforts.
In Korea, laws have been strengthened to protect children from abuse by the banning of child-like sex dolls which are used to simulate child rape, further all forms of child sex abuse material including those digitally created or drawn have also been banned. Dedicated task-forces have been set up to prevent hidden cameras set up in public restrooms with laws tightened to create heavy penalties for those found guilty of lewd recordings. In Korea, subway carriages have dedicated seating spaces for pregnant women and the elderly, with female only parking at some department stores. These laws follow the norms of Korea's Neo-Confucian concept of filial piety and family honour.
In China, laws have been strengthened to protect women and children with a "zero tolerance policy" toward child abuse including execution for paedophiles. The Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China has already passed the death sentence on several child rapists and it has stated that "courts across China must use all measures, including capital punishment, to respond to child sex offences". Current policy in China allows for the execution of sex offenders by lethal injection or by firing squad. All forms of child sex abuse material are illegal in China and penalties are severe. China has also outlawed all sexualised materials targeted at children including strict regulation of media platforms such as Tiktok.
These improvements in East Asian however have a great potential to be undermined due to the increased push of Post Modern Imperialism via gender ideology. The very ones who claim to desire equality and tolerance, are intolerant of other cultures in forcing their own ethnocentric contagion onto other people. In Korea and Japan, self-identification laws would cause catastrophic cultural and safeguarding issues because the idea of self-identification undermines more than a thousand years of tradition. How so?
Korea and Japan share a similar culture of public baths many of which use volcanic water for relaxation and therapeutic benefits. In these countries, bathhouses have always been segmented into two sections, one for men and one for women. Girls join their mothers in the women's section and boys join their father in the men’s section unless they are very young and need their mother's care. This tradition allows for safeguarding and minimises inappropriate behaviour providing a self-regulating system for safeguarding. Sex segregated spaces provide security for men and women alike and are the original implementation of what Western people only now realise is a "safe space".
Now enter the effects of gender ideology and queer theory along with their hedonistic views. The nihilistic and libertine nature of these ideologies focus on the indulgence of self at the expense of others, this is contrary to East Asian culture where the individual is less important than the whole society and where honour takes precedence over perceived rights. The focus on family and social cohesion can be seen in the cultural habit of Chinese, Koreans and Japanese in putting the surname before the personal name and where women keep their family name after marriage. Gender ideology attacks this, allowing the most predatory elements of society to invade sex segregated spaces and undermining traditional cultures that enable safeguarding.
In Japan, one trans identified male has been found entering women's bathhouses for the sake of viewing nude women and even writing a blog describing in perverted detail what he saw. Several other similar cases have appeared in the media. The creation of "gender neutral" public restrooms despite public outcry, led to the restroom becoming a hot-spot for child rapists to abuse girls. This is far from a simple grassroots Japanese problem, as several Western Academics that teach in Japan are proponents of this ideology. They are in effect, the Trojan Horse of ideologues, infecting the East with culturally destructive ideas in order to spread Post Modern Imperialistic ideas to the detriment of the countries and peoples that live there.
While Japan has been swayed to a degree in adopting foreign ideologies, other countries are being more resistant. In Korea, the Seoul Government refused to allow permits for the Queer Parade when it could not be guaranteed that there would be no licentious displays in the public especially near children. This caused public backlash on Twitter, however the majority of voices in support of the parade were not Korean but rather foreigners complaining about the issue. A newly established gender clinic in Korea likewise also sparked outrage with their comments on Twitter claiming to being able to "make women", leading to a massive ratio of negative comments resulting in the clinic restricting comments. Many of the comments being the Korea equivalent of "What is a woman and how do you make one?" Once again the majority of support for the centre was not domestic but foreign. Foreign pro-paedophilia groups such as Prostasia and their academic adherents have tried to sway the Korean Government into rescinding the ban of child-like sex dolls by letter writing and appeal campaigns that have fortunately fallen on deaf ears.
China has also restricted any and all lewd public displays along with limiting the spread of gender and queer theory's indoctrination going as far as ordering the closing down of a popular LGBTQ Centre that was pushing gender ideology on to children with the Government stating that the centre was "misleading youth". Where did criticism against Government efforts to protect children come from? You guessed it, Western Academia. Critiques came pouring in about China's totalitarian nature but none addressed the underlying issue that the Government had with a lack of scientific evidence that "gender affirmation" is anything but child mutilation, nor did they mention the Governments concerns about the medicalisation of young people or how this ideology impacts on mental health. No mention was made of the Governments concerns that “affirming care” was already being reconsidered for its lack of evidence in several European countries. In China, Westerners that push these ideologies are disdainfully referred to as Baizuo (白左-White left) and are seen as ignorant, self-righteous and totalitarian with a fake sense of morality.
Those foreigners pushing these Post Modern Imperialistic ideologies in Asia, are often the very same people claiming that there is no systematic attack on Asians in the West, or, when such attacks on Asians fall on a certain demographic which are considered immune to critique, the voice for stop "Asian Hate" suddenly disappears. Regardless of the side in question, Asians are often seen as a throw away tool that can be abandoned once whatever goal is reached.
The fact that East Asian cultures generally avoid conflict and save face is being abused by radical ideologues to corrupt East Asian culture and simultaneously target Asians for hate crimes in the West. The parasitism of this ideology is spread via a white saviour complex that treats East Asians as if they have to be saved from their own cultures by Baizuo, often making use of Bobas (elite Western born Asians that have no personal cultural roots and that view their parent's culture disparagingly) support to bolster their arguments that East Asia is somehow intolerant or backward. In short, some Bobas are exploited and act in the role of the "noble savage" and are used as a means to an end, the end of which is the destabilisation of East Asia via corrupting ideologies.
Queer ideology is anti-human by attacking the basic unit of society, the family unit. It is also anti-human in its promotion of nihilistic and hedonistic thought. It is therefore no surprise, that queer theory is anti-Asian because these cultures hold the family, filial piety and self-sacrifice as virtues. It is an ideology that is being forced on the East Asian population against their will. Queer ideology is therefore the antithesis of East Asian culture and a destructive Post Modern Imperialist force that must be rejected in its entirety on both an academic and social level.
in the early 90s okama snack bars were popular with my girlfriend at the time and her friends. Japan seemed to have a more relaxed position toward them then we did in NZ back then.
